Denture repairs can normally be done same day. It relies on just what is required to fix your dentures. We acknowledge the embarrassment of being seen without your teeth so we will repair them as quickly as possible.
Dentures break for a number of reasons and should be relined after 4 years and replaced after 8 years and sometimes sooner depending on your teeth grinding behavior.
Before we can repair your dentures, the denture needs to be thoroughly cleansed and soaked.
Utilising the damaged denture as a reference (sometimes we will take an impression), we create a plaster model, grind the broken surface areas, mix new acrylic, then cure in a pressurised system. Once cured they are trimmed, polished and cleansed.
